Bi-annual comprehensive health history assessments and referrals for uninsured families
Monthly nutrition and health education presentations.
Transportation assistance:
Transportation
available, either on a group or individual basis, for medical visits,
social day care activities, and grocery shopping assistance
Bi-lingual Assitance:
Esl/citizenship class instruction; US citizenship application assistance
Bi-lingual and culturally competent case worker assistance for the
acquisition of social security, medi-cal benefits and general
assistance
Application completion assistance in obtaining government subsidized housing, food stamps, and other support services.
Issues Impacting Elderly Women:
Monthly Las
Madrinas (womens auxillary)meetings to address issues impacting elderly
women, as well as to organize and implement fundraising projects.
